The tide of your days
The day to day, and how the reading adjusts to you
The whole month in view, and your streaks within it: the stretches that come even, the ones that ask for care, the key dates with their day and what they bring. It is not a single loose day each morning — it is the shape of your days.
The app uses an algorithm with an axiomatic structure that combines signal analysis, inferential statistics and the principle of maximum entropy —the same one statistical thermodynamics rests on— with advanced models of periodic phenomena. With them it estimates how the traits of your birth day amplify the omens of each of the days of the Mexica calendar, the tonalpohualli.
Your reading can adapt to your experience, with a single one-tap question a day.
Each omen is based on what the primary or secondary sources attest, or on the living tradition, declared as such. The sky is calculated with astronomy from the coordinates of sacred Tenochtitlan: Venus weighs on your reading on the days it reappears as the morning star, as the sources read it, and if you choose, the days when the Moon, the Sun or Venus are back where they were when you were born also count.
It is an informative reading of what the tradition says about each day, ordered with modern statistics.
